Dick Van Dyke & The Vantastix will be performing on July 10th at the Hot Springs Convention Center. The show will be benefiting the American Cancer Society.
This is the only show that Dick has performed outside of California, so it is a huge opportunity for people in Arkansas to be able to see him. Jerry Van Dyke will be there that night as well.

There will be a live auction of a framed team picture of the 1964 National Championship team signed by Coach Frank Broyles and an actual piece of turf from Frank Broyles Field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and a plaque commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the Razorbacks. This piece is a limited edition – one of twenty five.
There will also be a silent auction of framed prints of Razorback and Dallas Cowboy memorabilia.
A raffle of $2.00 each will be sold at the fish fry for 2 season football tickets to the Little Rock Football games. There will be two drawings (two winners) for the tickets.

DALLAS, TX – December 29, 2009, the Benton High School Cheerleader squad was named the National Cheerleaders Association National High School Champions for their division
By a 0.65 point margin, the 20-member team beat out Coppell High School of Coppell, Texas in overall point judging, said coach Karen Hilborn.

BENTON, AR – Two Lady Panthers to sign letters of intent for collegiate sports.
On Thursday Nov. 12th at 1:40pm in the Benton Arena. Ty Linburg, a member of the Benton Lady Panther 2009 State Volleyball Champions team will sign a NCAA letter of intent to play volleyball at UALR.
Also at the same event, Ashley Martindale, a member of the Lady Panther Softball team will sign a NCAA letter of intent to play for the Ladybacks at the University of Arkansas.
Bryant Fitness Zone is again the sponsor of the Salt Bowl trophy and will also present a $500 check to the winning team to go into the Booster Club’s scholarship fund.
Each ticket has a coupon on the back for a buy-one-get-one-free burger at Sonic of Benton.
Tickets are now on sale for the 10th Salt Bowl football game pitting Saline County rivals Bryant and Benton at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on Friday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for all ages and available at all Big Red Valero locations across central Arkansas as well as the athletic directors’ offices at both schools. Tickets will be available at the gate.
This will be the 37th gridiron meeting between the two schools. Benton leads the series 24-11-1 but Bryant, with last-year’s 36-12 win, has won nine of the last 11 meetings.
Benton, with new head coach Steve Quinn, will be the home team this year. Benton fans will sit on the west side of War Memorial Stadium and Bryant fans on the east side of the stadium.
